Plusmak Drum Twister Lines are designed for the stranding, taping and armouring of large cross-section and sheathed cables.
Thanks to their robust construction, PLR Series rotating pay-off and take-up units deliver flawless performance even under the most demanding operating conditions, ensuring continuous and reliable production.
Rotating pay-off and take-up units are available for maximum reel sizes of Ø1600 mm, Ø2000 mm, Ø2240 mm and Ø2500 mm, providing flexibility for different production requirements.
High-speed taping machines ensure precise and uniform tape application on the cable, increasing production efficiency. The applied tape layers enhance the cable’s thermal and fire resistance, while also helping to maintain proper separation and protection between cable layers.
The armouring process increases the mechanical strength of the cable, providing additional protection against impact, crushing and external influences. Depending on the application, basket type or multi-wire pay-offs can be used for the armouring process.
